About Drift Masters
Forget the Finish Line
In Drift Masters, getting to the end of a track isn't the main goal. What matters is how long you can keep your car sliding without messing up. Throw the car sideways into a corner, hold the drift through the bend, then carry that momentum into the next turn. Each clean slide adds points to your combo, and a good run can bring in a decent amount of cash. Get too close to a guard rail, though, and all those unbanked combo points disappear.
One Bad Turn Can Cost You
The tricky part is finding the balance between pushing hard and staying in control. Go too cautiously, and your drift chain may end; take a corner badly, and you could lose the whole run's accumulated combo. Tracks like Snowy give you a different feel from Race, where elevation changes and tight hairpins demand more attention. City brings its own challenges, so the same approach won't necessarily work everywhere.
Spend Your Earnings Wisely
Cash earned from drifting gives you something to work toward between runs. You can unlock new cars, from Mustang-style muscle to BMW M3-inspired models and smaller vehicles like the Yugo. Performance upgrades help you adjust your ride as you figure out which car suits your driving style. Trying a different vehicle can make a familiar corner feel completely different.
Chasing One More Clean Run
Drift Masters has that tempting quality where a run that starts badly can still turn into a personal best if you recover your rhythm. There's no need to worry about beating a pack of racers to the finish. Instead, you're watching the corners ahead, trying to keep the chain alive, and hoping your next slide doesn't end against a wall. One more turn can mean a bigger payout—or starting over.
