Basketball Bros is not trying to be a serious basketball simulator. It is a simple 1-on-1 arcade game where things can get messy pretty quickly. You can sprint for the basket, jump over your opponent for a dunk, or hang back and try a three-pointer. If the other player is getting too close, you can also shove them around and fight for the ball. The goofy physics make even a normal play turn into something unexpected.

Pick a Mode and Play

There are several ways to get into a game. Play Now is the easiest option if you just want to face the computer and start playing. If a friend is sitting beside you, the 2 Players mode lets both of you use the same keyboard.

Franchise Mode gives the game a little more structure. Choose a player and work through a 17-match tournament, trying to reach the end and take home the championship. There are also private online matches for playing with friends through shared room codes. Shooting Practice is there when you want to work on your jump and shot timing first.

Find Your Style

The players do not all feel exactly the same. Some are built for getting up to the rim and throwing down huge dunks, while others are better when shooting from distance. That can change how you approach each match.

On offense, a quick run toward the hoop can catch someone off guard. A step-back can work just as well if the defender is expecting a dunk. When defending, stay close, watch for the shot, and jump at the right moment to block it. You can also try knocking the ball loose when your opponent gets careless.

Keep winning, and you will gradually unlock more players, clothing, and accessories.
