Sliding Makes a Difference

The movement feels more active than simply running around the map. Pressing Shift while you're moving lets you slide in that same direction. This can help when someone is shooting at you, but it also comes in handy when you want to rush another player. You can jump during a slide, too, which lets you carry your momentum into the air. Once the slide is over, there's a one-second wait before you can slide again.

Choose How You Want to Play

Free-For-All is simple: everyone is out for themselves, so you need to watch every direction. Team Deathmatch puts you on a team and turns the fight into a race for the highest score. In Hardpoint, the action centers around rotating zones, with both teams trying to take and hold control.
