About Lift Off 2
It Looks Easy Until It Isn’t
You hit launch, the rocket shoots up, and it feels straightforward for about two seconds. Then the first stage runs dry, and you have to decide when to cut it loose. There’s a small green window where everything lines up. Hit it, and you keep your speed. Miss it, and the run starts falling apart fast.
Timing Is Everything
There’s no trick beyond getting the timing right, but that’s harder than it sounds. Tap too soon, and you waste what little power you have. Wait too long, and the rocket can’t handle it. After a few tries, you start to get a feel for it, but it never becomes automatic. You’re always paying attention.
Every Run Pushes You a Bit Further
You won’t go far at first. That’s normal. But each run gives you something to work with. As you climb higher, you pass planets, and if you’re close enough, your rocket lands and adds more people to your total. That’s where your money comes from.
Upgrades Change the Run
With more money, you improve your rocket. Better parts mean more height and a bit more room for error. You start reaching places you couldn’t before, not because the game got easier, but because your rocket finally keeps up.
One More Try
Runs don’t last long, which makes it easy to keep going. You fail, you restart, and you try to fix what went wrong last time. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don’t, but you always feel like the next run might go better.
