About Meowdoku

Cute cats are only part of the appeal. Meowdoku is really a logic game that asks players to slow down and think before making a move. Every puzzle has a solution, but finding it takes observation instead of guesswork. The rules stay the same throughout the game, while the layouts become more interesting as new levels unlock.

Know the Goal

The board is split into colored sections. Each section needs one cat; no more and no less. It sounds straightforward, but the other rules quickly make things more challenging. Cats refuse to share a row, a column, or even a corner with another cat. One placement changes the entire board, so every decision matters.

Finding the First Move

The beginning is often the hardest part. Instead of looking at the whole puzzle, focus on one small area. Some regions leave very few places where a cat can fit. Solving those first usually makes the next step easier. Bit by bit, the empty spaces disappear, and the remaining choices become obvious.

Don't Rush

There is no prize for placing cats as quickly as possible. Looking over the board for another few seconds can save a heart later. A wrong move doesn't just affect one space; it can throw off everything that comes after it. Taking time to double-check rows, columns, and diagonal spaces is usually worth it.

Why It's Worth Playing

Meowdoku doesn't rely on flashy effects or fast action to stay interesting. The fun comes from reaching a point where the answer suddenly clicks. A puzzle that looked impossible a minute ago slowly starts making sense, and the final placement is always satisfying. That's the reason it's easy to play one level after another without getting bored.
