Buy rides, improve them, bring in more visitors, and keep an eye on the money coming in. The nice part is that the park can continue making cash even when you are not playing.

Your Rides Keep Changing

The rides are not just sitting there looking the same after you buy them. Spend money on an upgrade and the attraction develops as the progress bar moves along. This is especially noticeable with the horror attractions. What starts off fairly simple can end up with ghosts, zombies, houses, and other creepy decorations around it. You also have to think about the people waiting for each ride. A popular attraction can end up with a huge line if it does not have enough capacity. Ride speed matters too, so sometimes upgrading a ride is more useful than simply buying another one.

There Is More Than Just Rides

A good park needs some basic facilities as well. More parking spaces mean you can deal with more cars arriving at the entrance. Security cameras and guards can also be added as you improve the entrance area. Then there are the restrooms. They are easy to forget until visitors start walking around with disgusted faces above their heads. Adding more toilets and improving the restroom quality can help keep those complaints from piling up. Advertising is another way to get people through the gates. Newspaper ads give a small boost, while radio, TV, and smartphone campaigns can bring in much larger crowds. The smartphone option costs more, but it can bring a big jump in visitors for several hours.

Keep Expanding

Managers are useful once there is too much to handle yourself. Put one in charge of a ride or park area and upgrade them when possible. They can collect income automatically, make rides work faster, and cut some operating costs. When the park is doing well, new locations become available. Theme Park, Aqua Park, Terror Park, and Candy Park each give you another place to build up. Starting from an empty plot and watching it turn into a packed park is the main appeal of Park Empire.
